Treo 700 January Release Expected

A report in a Florida newspaper expects Treo 700 release in January.

The new Treo 700 from Palm is expected to compete with the Blackberry 8700. With Verizon's EV-DO network, the new Treo 700 will be twice as fast as Cingular's current EDGE network. With seamless email integration with Outlook, the new Windows Mobile 5 based smartphone will look to unseat Blackberry as the predominant mobile email device.
