Treo 700w Release Set For January 5

According to a report on Howard Forums, a Verizon employee has indicated the launch date for the highly anticipated Treo 700w will be January 5th at CES.

The Palm Treo 700w is the first Treo to run Windows Mobile 5.0. Bill Gates is expected to give a keynote speech where it's expected he will announce the launch. CES is the biggest consumer electronics show in the world, so launching the 700w at this venue makes sense.
